Thread: The little things

Stuck at home for what seems like eternity makes for not many smiles .
Taking my wife and daughter to the lake for some hanging around makes for some smiles .
Did I ketch lots you ask ? Well yeah I did ok I suppose but they were just little things ,watching my ladies fiddle with the crawdads in the high water and collect fossils and get in the water over the top of their boots was for sure big smiles .
And the wildflowers and little tiny baby turtles and the light misting rain and mild temperature made for a really nice escape . The dog was all smiles when we got home and the smoker had dinner waiting for us and even though it was only mashed potatoes and corn with some slow smoked venison it made for more smiles .
I often enjoy the little things god put out there for us to appreciate and sometimes we overlook the little things .
Next time you get out stop for a second along the path and enjoy the little things is something I will tell you makes for a few smiles
