I was fishing yesterday and I had a redear sunfish hit one of those Mini-King spinnerbaits for bass so hard that the willowleaf blade came loose. You ever have a lure busting strike from a panfish??

I was fly fishing for gills last week (topwater.)

I had a couple of gills come completely out of the water on the strike. They were really nailing the bait.

I just talked to Chris at StrikeKing and he's going to send me the lost parts to fix my broken spinnerbait FREE OF CHARGE. Now isn't that service?? I'm going out and buy me another strikeking spinnerbait right now. They're tops in my book.:D

    Default redear

We fish for them with fly rods. The bait we are using requires a styrofoam cork. We use the 1/2 corks and yesterday evening I had a redear completely inhale my bobber and got it lodged in its mouth.

Yeah, I've had'em do that too, sure makes hard to see if you're getting a bite when they won't leave your cork alone. I've found that the ones that do this are usually too small to bite a hook unless it's a very small one.
