twas a week before Christmas

and all thru the docks ,
the fish was a hitting ,
like alarms on clocks .
all hit it hard ,
and some got ripped ,
some hit the lard,
most just got lipped.
one was gill,
and a few were bass,
but none made me ill ,
sure glad I had a pass .
mister lil winter thumper gill wanted in on some jig action the other day ,sure did pull hard I tell ya , had me thinking he was something else at the start
only went for crappie and they were most assuredly real good to me on the private boat docks , thanks again Ez for the private slip pass
