Southern guys correct me, but we usually call them warmouths?
here we call greenies greenies and warmouth warmouth most of the time , some call warmouth goggle eyes to
and some call greens big mouth perch .
I once fished a little tiny spring pond that had greens it with such bright orange tipped fins you could see them in the crystal clear water from way far away on the approach to the pond .
not sure why some have orange tips and some don't , but I do know I ketch them side by side sometimes
Rock bass are goggle eyes, warmouth are warmouth, green sunfish are greenies with yellow and sometimes orange tipped fins & tails. Crappie are hopefully slabs or soon to be, LOL
