Hit a small pond on the hill outside of Bath NY yesterday. Had my limit of good sized gils in 2 hours. 8-9 inch average, pan sized. 2nd time since I got here in NY for the summer. The fish are on their beds again and it is interesting to watch them chase smaller fish off. I noticed when cleaning/filetingthe males were prone to be a little bloody but the females eggs were loose and ready to go. Pics when the grandson shows me how, AGAIN! All on wax worms, slip bobbers and glow in the dark ice fishing jigs.
