I first paired it with pflueger president xt25 and then tried a president limited edition 30x and I like the larger reel better, was able to cast a 1/64th trout magnet further. The sensitivity was awesome.Attachment 309546Attachment 309546

The top of the list design characteristic of an “Ajing” rod is the sensitivity. Nothing else like them.

I have that exact reel on my St. Croix Panfish special 7ft light action. With 4lb braid it is has become my favorite. I would like to pair it with a JDM rod also. The X ride and the Diawa look to be worthy candidates.

I just put on 2lb trout SOS with a 2lb floro leader, also just purchased 4lb fireline not sure what will work out better.
