    Default CNBG in texas

we have some , they don't get to be monsters though in the spots I hit , but they do get to be fair size .
one state park has some pretty nice 8 to 9 inchers in it in ok to good numbers
best bite was very early and very late in the day
and a few small red ears here and there as well
earthworms on number 8 mean minner heads
around 4 to 8 foot deep made em do it
prey fun stuff and we let them all go except for a couple that got kept
2 or 3 became bait items

Those gills look like the perfect size for the UL tackle. Do you use the JDM rods as well? I think I spotted one in another of your posts. The full moon should have them doing their thing all over the country!

Nice catch. I wish we had more of them but they just don’t do well in public waters here in TN, and in private waters if you don’t have them on a good feeding program they don’t do well in those either.

    Regards
