Mine is a 5’6” St. Croix UL 4 piece travel rod . Guess cause it stays in the truck all the time . That little rod has caught some fish , some my PB .

Where do you fish with a float tube ? Around here on the south side all of the water reservoirs won’t allow float tubes . You can’t even get in the water with waders on .
I own three of them . A friend of mine and I floated the Ocmulgee river a couple of times . I’m guessing mine probably need new tubes , they’ve been hanging in the garage for about 3-4 years .
Used to fish saltwater inshore 3 or 4 times a year too . It’s been awhile. Gillchaser

I think the Premier is the best bet of the St. Croix lineup. It was more sensitive than the Panfish and just a little more than the Triumph from my experience.
I used to own a St. Croix Avid 6' light (not UL) rod that was sweet. I sold it as part of my rod culling process, but I kinda regret that one. Very nice rod and similar in price to the lower-end JDM rods.Quote:
