As the moon fills the Bluegill action continues to get better. I fished a different part of the lake Wednesday afternoon and found cooperative and cricket hungry gills. The water is clearer down the lake and the beds tend to be a little deeper. Some old beds were empty but I found three areas holding fish and took 5-6 off each location then moved on. Water surface temperatures were 85 in the 10ft deep range, almost bath water in my book. Side imaging would definitely help on the thru the week evening trips due to the limited time after work. The Chief Financial Officer has not been consulted on this premise though. Pictures are a little dark due to being taken at night but you can see the size was about average and coincidentally 17 made the ride home again tonight. They are thick and very healthy.
