That must work with a slow stop and go retrieve while casting with ultra light gear ? I've always used single pole and tied them tight to keep the jig horizontal while in the water. Some days the bite will really slow down if my jig starts to be vertical.

Loop knot jigs will almost always stay horizontal in the water unless the jig is tail heavy and that’s about impossible .
It’s the only knot I use and you should experiment with it and discover its simplicity .
It ties fast and is built to last and the only down side I have ever encountered is if you have cheap jigs and the eyelet isn’t closed up tight .
The upside is you ain’t never seen a jig look more natural and never have to adjust the jig on the line like you have to do with clinch knots and Palomars as well .
I use it always and vertical jig constantly and pitch and drag and etc etc etc
