    Default Another 2lb Coppernose @ LP 11 19 17

Got blown off the lake today but did mange to get a few nice BGs plus a another BIG CNBG - 2.25 lbs. This BG was caught almost in the same spot as the last one (10/04).
Again - the Colorado blades and the OG pattern (tipped with crickets) worked. Trolling .5 to .6 mph in 18 to 24 FOW. Water temp started @ 65.2*F.

I bet those things give up one heck of a fight. Man, I'd LOVE to have a place other than a farm pond that grew them that big to fish. I've never caught a 2 lber, but our stock pond has some giants in it. They just aren't as fun to catch in a stock pond as they are a lake or river.

Thought I got hung up on the bottom - started to back up - and the bottom kept moving...
    Then it was on!

This fish was released - should make the 3 lb. mark - very healthy.

Wow!!!, that's a stud gill. With spawn over until next year that fish is going to get a lot bigger by next year. Just going to eat and get bigger.
