    Default Big trifecta in 2 doubles @ LP 0924 17

    Off the lake for too many days - water temp dropped to 74f*! Brought along double trouble. Zero fish for the 1st hour - slammed a big CNBG and GSX double for openers. Lots of smaller hens showed up. picked up another fat double - this time it was a RE and female BG.

    Would that be a 'Yote on the rocks? Stud fish as usual, and some good looking Shepard's you have there. I have a couple of good mutts here but they don't do the boat for different reasons. You were in good company.

    thnx skeet - yeah the Yote wasn't happy about us being there..... This was the 1st trip with both - they did pretty good. I have an old white female too - she don't get around to good now. Her hips are bad.

    LOVE it when the big Blues are biting, as they are a great fight on ultra light tackle. take my two dogs out as well but they stay on the couch on my toon, pommies.

    thnx hh - my 2 knuckleheads play til they drop. Like kids, have to put them on time out sometimes....

    CNBG = Coppernose Bluegill

    GSX = Green Sunfish Cross - probably should be GSBG. Awesome fish - first 2 fish hit at the same time, landed the GSX 1st. Got the CNBG 2nd - both fought almost the same. The GSX, like a RE, doesn't give up at the end of the fight. The CNBG is post spawn and was on a trolled line longer... There will be plenty of room @ LP for these guys - supposed to raise the level back up to full pool in November. Think there adding another 1800 surface acres!!!

    Them "little" hens are the best eating! If my live well was working........

    Sorry to hear Blanca's hips are bad, she's a good dog. Hope the hips get better. Think raising the lake levels and extra surface area will give you a little more room to work with on the crowded weekends. Beautiful fish and dogs.
