Not much action yesterday:(

Well, me and the kids went fishing yesterday, but we caught sunburns more than fish. We tried everything, and finally my last cast of the day I tied a Bett's Trim Gim on and pitched it next to the root wad I had been fishing. Wham- hard hit by a medium size bluegill. Too bad I was out of time. Anyone ever tried this lure?

I got lucky yesterday. But like you I burned my head, neck, and arms.
The weather was the best it had been all year. No jacket, just a t-shirt.
I caught 76 half were dinks, using redworm, fishing on bottom. Had a great time. I'm looking to add some new places to fish, some I'm heading out now to go find some.
