hit a lake about 20 minutes away for a quick pitch or 27 ....1.5 hours and had a nice time ...wasn't really after bluegills but they was for sure after my jig ....the bluegill wore me down a bit but I did manage a few crappie in the mix ,then right before it was time to head out ....a nice Oriole flew up in a willow and just went to singing for me ....nice start to a nice long weekend for sure ....
