Nice looking fish. Anyone have any advice on where I can catch some close to home?
Danville, Illinois
We have perch here in Oregon in the coastal lakes, which stay warmer most of the year. But somebody put some into Dorena Lake sometime lately, and they've been getting caught by surprised anglers. Not cool to stock fish without permission, but it's happened in almost every warm-water lake in this state!
they are in most of our rivers and lakes here in NY, and in mass #'s in places along with some average size days are over 10". They are fun to catch on light tackle. :D
We catch good numbers of pearch starting around Dec and last into march.Good eating and good fighters on the line. They are also good for the ounger ones to catch. Makes them sooooo happy.
