Default played with the city park bluegills a bit

them fish were flat out on fire and lots of fun , I saw a little bitty boy and his family and asked them if the boy wanted to ketch a few . they said he hasn't ever been fishing and I said he is about to be ketchn .....
he landed 4 in about 4 minutes and even got his line broke by something rather large at around the 5 minute mark ! ....sure did smile big and just burned holes in them fish with his eyes while mom took photos ....LOL fun times for sure ...said they needed to go buy him a fishing rod and I said yep he looks like a natural to me
here are few photos of the 40 or so I managed in about 30 minutes ....worms on a 1/64 jighead number 8 hook 12 inches under a float

Nice of you to share the experience with the boy. He and his family will remember that for a long time. Way to go!

Oxford MS city pond doesnt allow adults to fish just 15 and under and quadraplegics and more severe disabilities!!! SHOULD just Fine folks $100.00 per fish for taking one home!!!!!! Be alot more kids getting to go fishing!!!! Have you ever went fishing and sat and watched a CHILD in need of some guidance and a how to fish seeing the adult sitting and SKEEEEERED to get caught casting a rod!!!!!!

this would be a shame to endure for sure , cant imagine someone wanting to enforce something like that if the adult was trying to help the child ketch fish for sure. the boy I helped had his dad helping him reel them in and me casting for him .some silly laws get put into place at times and I understand the original idea is to help the kids ketch fish ,but its sad that you cant help them do it for sure .
