    Default Diversity

Went this morning and caught mostly shell crackers. Did manage a bass and a bluegill. I have caught crappie in this same location. My question is why was only one species more prevalent. I know that there are more bluegills there. Seemed to me that something else should have been biting as well if the shell crackers were.

hard to say what was the deal on that trip , might be just the time of year and or water level there , some fish frequent an area for quite some time and then abandon it for quite some time .
