    Fish them just like any other jig.......anything with chartreuse works good

    As G said, it's a jig so you fish it just like any other jig. My best colors are solid red and solid black.

    My favorites in order for bluegill are black/green (looks like a Catalpa worm), bison (mealworm/black), and bulldog (red/black), and purple redemption. Those are my favorites for gills.

    They work for crappie and gills! Black is my favorite with a chartreuse head.

    I have fished these for years. I find for Gills...shellcracker.....the darker colors work best. Now that is not to say they won't hit the other colors it is just what has worked for me.

    White, red, pink, and pale green (think glow in the dark green) work best for me up here in Oregon.
