Bedding blue gill and shellcracker artificial baits?

Redworms irritate the heck out gills on beds. Cant wait to next month. My gardens infested.

Uhhhh .... red worms in your garden is a good thing (for your garden), not an "infestation". :biggrin Or were you just implying that you had "plenty" of them available "in your garden" !!

It's pretty obvious there are many good ways/ baits used to slay them.I use a lot of micro plastics but my all around go to bait is honey worms. Easing my kayak just outside the beds,I toss them under a thill or a waggler.

I am hungry now!!

I made a worm bed next to my garden its specially for spring fishing. Gardens got a few but not like my leaf bed. I use small flies no weight no sinker. Works really good on gill beds

I love a tiny 1/64th tear drop soldered ice fishing lure. They work in hard as well as soft water. Tip with Maggots or Wax worms.
