I love the little Pop eye jigs in 1/64th oz. E-bay!! Mostly in black or yellow, with a crappie nibble on the hook. Don' t buy the $12.50 ones, get the 10 for $5.99 delivered, Cheap enough, but deadly. I use these in deep or shallow water. Use a small/ medium weight a foot above of jig. You can clean up with these.
I've done very well on bream using the Lil Beave and Lil Craw bodies from Wal Mart on a 1/16 beetle spin, or even better on the Southern Pro Creekspin. We have caught them on these as small as 2-3 inch pumpkinseeds and bluegills, and my son caught the smallest bass I've ever seen on one, it was the size of a big minnow.
Chuck and Deb's has some nice small jigs. Look all around the website and use the site menu on the home page and see some of the really small lures they have. Check them out. HARD TO FIND PLASTICS FOR PANFIS

you can fish a trout fly under a natural cork bobber,tip it with one of the little Berkley power baits or a tiny piece of worm.I have had a pretty good luck with the powerbait that's chartreuse and looks like a little caterpillar. Sometimes the tiniest of split shots to keep the bait down ,sometimes a dry fly that floats will catch them on the top,the float just gives you a way to cast it on spinning equipment. Light line....if your water is stained use a line color to match.They will be picky abut the fly color and shape.
Greatest finesse presentation there is I think. But every little bugger that swims is gonna bite it.
for clarification thats the berkley honeyworm in yellow not chart....The bobber is natural cork in natural color...hard to find.But it seems the natural cork does not spook even the wariest of fish.I think the whole rig gives the appearance of something like a sweet gum ball or other tree growth falling in the water that just happen to have a bug on it. You can try as small or as large a fly as you want.But have to find the one they want that day.Get a selection.
If your casting to gills or crackers slow roll just off the bottom or structure a 1/32oz chart. road runner head with various tube bodies works good(chart with purple flake good).Tip it with Chromaglow chart. crappie nibble...I've caught thousands of fish on that combination of at least 10 species.
