Go to bait?

I have literally tore up the gill water with teardrops and waxworms. We call them ice jigs and they are my go to bait for gills, under a float that is. Farmboy has purchased some of Ship's teardrops, we are looking forward to putting them to good use.

Live bait= grass shrimp. Artificial=1" white grub

always heard black was the gills favorite color...

The old standby of a #8 hook and wax worms or a 1/64th jig tipped with wax worms fisihed under a Waggler slip float.
