Yesterday was my niece's 6th birthday party. And like most birthday parties in my family, it took place at the family camp on the river so naturally some fishing was involved. My niece came out on the pier and said "uncle moe, I want to fish" so I handed her my pole. She made a few cast and then I asked her what my grandpaw always asked me when I was a kid. "Do you want me to cast it right in front of a fish for you?" She smiled and said yes. Luckely for me, it took about 10 seconds after handing her the pole for the cork to go under. This girl absolutely loves to fish!
