good gill/crappie day in NY

went out yesterday to Port Bay (bay of Lake Ontario) caught 30 decent gills and 11 crappie. using mostly my own tied jigs with spinner tied on
and couple areas seemed a white curly tail worked well too. crappie were mostly in open areas around weeds (females) and couple shooting docks one male and one female. gills were in open areas (mostly males) thinking they're making beds. water temp was 66'. all in all good day.
Didn't take pictures before, but here are the results.
