Mini-swimbaits for bluegills?

I agree with tnpondmanager that Charlie Brewer Sliders will put a hurt on bream. My favorites are the 1" grubs found here 1 I fish them on a 1/48 minnow head jig #8 hook that i pour, usually with a jig spinner because of the murky and structure filled South Louisiana ponds, lakes and rivers that I usually fish. The 1 inch grubs are hard to find at retailers, about the only place I can get them is at Cabela's and I usually buy quite a few when I find them. 1" curl tail grubs from any name brand, under a float or on jig spinner(with 1/64oz jig head) or inline spinner (with a single hook #8 like how i make them sometimes) should work fine. mister twister brand makes a tiny 1" version of the sassy shad that will work too

I found some of these at BPS I think a few weeks ago, thinking these might be good for gill and bream, but have not had a chance to use 'em. glad to know they will work.

Edit - apologies. I misread swimbaits as spinnerbaits.

One of the very best ways I've found to locate schools on large shallow flats is to troll 1/32oz beetle spins with the electric trolling motor. After catching one or two I'll stop and fish the location with either a plain beetle or a cricket under a bobber. I don't usually catch a lot with the spinner, but it is a great locating tool.
