It is a 5 weight eagle claw 7ft rod with a 5 weight eagle claw reel i'm wanting one myself now..

That is a great report and pictures. I love to see kids with a fly rod catching fish. Congrats to him on the rod and catch and hope you can get a rod like it soon.:)

i can't imagine not bringing both the fly rod along with spinning rod when im fishing.the fly rod is so much fun,there are times where i use it more than the spinning rod.its awesome to see young people interested in fly rodding! nice fish!
