Thread: Shellcracker starting, but not there yet!

Spent some time on Wilson lake this week. Caught a few shellcracker, they are still scattered, but all in about 4-5 feet of water. This one came out from under a tree in a cut off a deep water slough. Water temps up to around 67, it shouldn't be long before they really start up. This had some eggs in it, but not full.
