    Man, you gotta love those Bluegills. Our's up here in the North are just about to hit the beds... Nice fish..

    Yup, they're about to spawn here to! And the second fish, it looks like a hybrid crappie/red ear.

    You know you're right now that I looked at it again. Does that really happen? I've seen hybrid white/black crappie and several different hybrid sunfish, but I never thought a crappie and a sunfish could cross. Interesting....

    That is a strange fish you caught. Never seen anything like that, but it would be a great thing to cross those two species. I love both of them, catching and eating...

    That fish looks like a common Red Ear to me
