Default Colorado spinner & black gnat

Years ago (late 50's & 60's) I used to fly fish for bluegill with a "tiny", can't remember the size no., Colorado spinner with a black gnat fly. It was deadly on big "Bull Gills". I have tried several places trying to find a Colorado spinner like that, but haven't had any luck. I don't even know if they make them any more.
I sure would like to try that combo again as I haven't fly fished in many years. If anyone knows of a place that handles them I sure would appreciate it.

Google "Joe's Flies". Bass Pro carries them.

I recommend Hildebrandt spinners. Just add your fly.

You should be able to find a Hildebrant (smallest size) Spinner.
Back when I used a flyrod a lot I would tip the Gnatt with a fly strip of white pork rind.

Joe's Flies carries the Colorado "inline" spinner, which is what I am looking for, but does'nt show the "00" size which I am sure is what I need. I sent an e-mail to see if they have them or can get them, but have'nt heard back from them. With the inline spinner you can just clip your fly on and are ready to go.
    Thanks for the replies.

Well, yes and no. Most flies are tied with the hook eye angling downward, which keeps them from trailing in line with the spinner shaft. Flies made for use behind spinners are tied on straight-eye hooks.
