Shellcracker and my 2 cents

Speaking of meat, while running out of worms, crickets, and other grubs I've caught them off chicken livers also.

13 1/2 - 14 inches.

My best bait for chinks is baby crawfish. Rake the ditches in spring and pick them up by the handfull.
