    Default Vertical jigs

Other than fishing through the ice does anyone use vertical jigs? I want to try them but have never seen one and do not know how effective they are.

crappiepappy has written a lot about a method called "vertical casting". Here's an article about it:

Search the archives and you should find several threads discussing it, also.

I have used this method in the past, and it works great.

Sorry about that, I asked the wrong question or stated it wrong. What jig I want to know about is the DO-IT Crappie JIG MOLD numberJC-6-1632. They call it a crappie jig and I wanted to know how good of a jig it is for fishing either the bottom or under a micro float.
