    Default Take the good with the bad


    Son and I went fishing this morning, he's 30 and the first time we've done anything "together" since he was in pony league baseball. So, that was good!

    Driving out, rolled down the electric passenger window to wave bye to the wife and it wouldn't roll back up! That was/is bad.

    It was about 50 degrees on the lake, very breezy and overcast, I can't say if that was bad but it sure was cold!!

    Everything we caught was a keeper, that was very good, everything we caught was 3 bluegill and two perch, not exactly bad but a ways from good I think.

    We fished for about two hours before the first bluegill, caught on a night crawler. About two minutes later I caught a real nice gill on a beetle spin with a gulp minnow on it and I thought "OH BOY" here we go! Didn't get another for about two more hours, I just don't understand fish sometimes!

    i would say mostly good,you caught some keepers.at the beginning of the year when i get out fishing for the first time in months,i am glad i when i catch a dink,and even only 1 lol!its like too bad weather,winter,elements,ect,the fish are turning on and i made em bite!

    Any day fishing is good. Weather you catch fish or not, its all good. Especially when you get to go with your adult son.

    My glass is always half full. I see the good in everything. It's only bad if you think of it that way.
