thanks im going to fern lake in a couple days and will make some and try them.
I haven't really tried them yet.I made a few casts and the lure got tangled and I went to something else.I will try them again though.
Great idea, I'm going to make a couple of them and see how they work.

I only tried mine that one time and forgot about them til a few days ago when I was going thru my stuff.

Check my post on page 6,they are the only ones I made.I'm ready to hit the water anytime but my work schedule and the weather have been keeping me from going.
I have fished them for several years on a fly rod; they work great for brim, white bass, yellow bass, crappie. I fish them on a floating line when fish are shallow and a sink tip when theyre down 6-8 feet. I learned to tie them up from an article in warmwater fly fishing back when the magazine was published. I generally make a small tail of flashabou or some other kind of flash; fish them with a loop knot to get more flutter-p-
