Went early this morning. All the females moved off the beds, caught a bunch of males though, guess they were still tending the beds. did catch one female still full of eggs out of the bunch. Water temp was 88 degrees, caught the fish in 6 fow, I finished with 38, all caught on grass shrimp. I coulda brought home my limit but i only kept the hogs. I usually fillet my gills but today i decided to scale em and gut em for a change. Got my wife to fry me up a couple gills, hush puppies, fries, onion rings and some white bread on the side. mmmm it was good. here are some pics of befor and after.
