    Default A few Bullgills


    New to this board....been lurking for a minute.

    Wanted to share some recent pics of some pounder plus gills caught down here in SoCal.

    Enjoy!















    All gills were caught flylining / dragging 1/2 pieces of nite crawlers along the bottom in 15 - 20 ft of water.

    awesome man. when you catch em and there almost round instead of oval shaped, you know you got onto some big gills. nice cuz. i checked the link you put on to and saw some big crappie you caught too, those are also nice. way to go

    Howdy Roy! Good to see you on here guy!

    Listen to what he has to say guys, he is the acknowledged "Crappie Expert" in San Diego. I started catching crappie a few years ago by paying attention to what he said on the local fish forum.
