Default Some Goggle Eye from the weekend

We went camping\canoeing over Memorial Day with the family and some friends. Didn't catch a lot of my target species, but we did load up on the "small" Goggle Eye. They are a fun fish to catch cause of the fight and they will go after anything as seen in the pics from 1/32 oz popeye jig to bass tubes. I even catch them on the river nightfishing buzzbaits some time with the bait being longer than the fish.

AAAAAHHHHHHHHH, a true goggle eye. A true rock bass and not a green sunfish mistakenly called a goggleye. WTG, I am jealous. I have not caught a rock bass in probably 35 years.

Thanks, they are tough fish. The 3rd pic was actually a different date but same river. I just posted to show they go after everything in size. I guess the Kamikaze type panfish. Here's another trip, but shows how aggresive they feed even at night on a Jitterbug and buzz.

They're known in some circles as WGSF (Worlds Greatest Sport Fish), they will hit anything at any time!
