Kentucky lake (jonathon creek area)

Has anyone been down to Kentucky lake recently? I'm thinking of going this weekend but the lake looks way out of its banks. I'm wanting to try to get some bluegill, but they probably won't bed up if the water is that high. I'm just wondering if I would be wasting my time and should try to go somewhere else for the gills this year.

You would probably be lucky to even be able to stay anywhere near the lake. Most of the ramps are now unusable. I crossed Jonathan this AM and it looks like you could plant corn in it. I really figure the lake is going to be a washout for some time. I haven't seen a forcasted crest but I'm hearing around 370, which is 11 feet over summer pool.

KY and Barkley Lakes are CLOSED to all recreational boat traffic until at least May 10. SERIOUSLY!!!
