The little crawfish is an awesome creek bait, it will catch anything that swims. I have not tried any of the others.

Ok folks, has anybody used any of the neat little Rebel ultralight lures with success?
The Wee Frog
Crickhopper
Wee Crawfish
Big ant
I've got several of them because they're really neat, but I haven't used them much.

I have heard good things about the small crankbaits for gills, but I've always stayed away from them for two reasons:
1) I don't like using treble hooks with small-mouthed fish like bluegills and
2) flies, jigs and bait work so well.
I've caught a few fish on the small rebel Tadfry and have done the best on the very small 1 5/8 inch Rebel Value Series Minnows. I've caught huge bream, crappie and lately yellow/white bass. It's a very flexible lure and I have at least 8 in my panfish tackle box.
wee crawfish awesome creek lure for small mouth.... gotta have the red or orange eyes
I pretty will have all the small Rebel lures, all of them catch fish, some days the red ant cann't be beat. The tadfry, the blue/chrome crankbait are my go to baits when casting small cranks.I have a small turtle crankbait that is a killer bass bait plus the bowfin love it too.

We have been catching lots of white bass on the weecraw. i love that little guy planning on using it this summer for the gills. i am scared of treble hooks and a small mouth opening.
Had that same problem with my first cast with one, the small treble hooks were a pain! I took those off and replaced them with #4 short-shanked single hooks and a lot easier to unhook the fish. Pretty easy, just slide the treble off the split ring and replace it with a single hook...you may need a few split rings to replace the original ones on the baits.
Good Luck!
did that a time or two
