Default Pleasant hill lake panfish 11/01/09

Here's a pic of the days catch. My cousin and I went to a local lake and stole these. Almost all were caught in 12-18 fow on jigs tipped with crawlers. the biggest crappie was 13" and had some eggs in it. I didn't know that they would spawn in the fall this far north, I heard that they do in the south.

Nice mess of fish and some good color in those pumpkinseeds! You should have had a BEAUTIFUL day to fish. I'd love to fish there from a boat.... always stuck on-shore or fished the spillway and river. End up going more for the hiking than fishing. Oh well... beautiful place either way.

    Thumbs up

Nice mess of fish there!! Those crappie eggs will still be there in the spring. I have caught them all times of the year when some have eggs. Illinoisgiller
