I think they turned out pretty good for a first time effort. I can't wait to get time to munky around with some custom colors...lol. You know me, I can never leave well enough alone...lol..Good Fishin'...
That chartruese red flake is very nice.Watermelon green is what the Arizona bluegills love, and like I said with that skinny black line down the side, lol. That looks like a pain to make.Good luck,no fishing anymore for you,but I am sure that you will get enough fish from the happy fishermen that you won't go hungry, lol.
Az,
Can you get me a pic of the color you are talking about? Usually if I can see it, I can either make it or get close one...lol. I got a idea for the body lines I just need to see what you are calling watermelon green. I will see what i can come up with...lol...Like I said, I HAVE JUST BEGUN...LOL!!!!
Those are pretty much beetle spin bodies with wings (lol). I seen Tim Farmer on Kentucky Afield using something almost exactly like that, and he slayed the Bluegill, Shellcracker, and even caught a few Crappie. He used 'em under a float, and sorta just fastly jerked them to give the action. Worked better than live bait ...
Here is one that is black with the 2 little strips, but have not been working. The dark green with the two little strips does not make it through 3 or four casts.
Here they are again, lol. For some reason they did'nt show up.
I'm gonna get them on here.Too big
