    Default Today's Fishing Trip 8/22/09

Went fishing today in the lakes I fish, we've had a lot of rain in the last few days and it was very windy. Couldn't get the crappie to bite but the bream were working on the jigs. I caught about 15 bream this size but turned them loose. I did keep about 10 bass that were less the 14" and released about 10 that were bigger. Here's a picture of one of the bream.

With gills that big I'd love to see some crappie from that lake. When you lip gills you know they are big. Beautiful gill !!!!
