    Default Oklahoma fires


    Just wanted to make sure every one is making it through? Is there anything that the Crappie.com members could do to help?
    If I can be half the man my Dad is, or a fourth the man my Grandfather is, I can rest in peace that my time on earth meant something.

    I was in Morrison for my daughter's softball practice last night. It was so smoky up there you couldn't tell where the fires were. The one along 177 north of Stillwater, last I knew got within a couple miles of Bill's corner. One sprang up north of Bills corner and east of 177. Don't know how far it got. They had 177 and 64 closed then, and evacuated people near McMurtry and north almost to Bill's corner. The one near I35 made it almost to Coyle Rd. north of 51. I live in Glencoe now so it wasn't near. I work behind Blackwell and there was nothing burnt there this morning.
