while the stowaway sonar mount is nice, it seems a bit tall to me. It may not stay.

Last Tuesday. Oh, you missed your appointment and I’m to busy to reschedule. :)
I also have a question of what size rivets did you use putting everything back together?
I used the same size that i removed. 3/16" or 5 mm with a 1' grip. There is going to be a lot of rivets so be sure you start with a good rivet gun
I never responded to the foam question so i will answer it now. I added the foam for several reasons. While I had the deck removed I replaced the power cables going to the trolling motor and I had to remove some foam to accomplish that. All boats come with inadequate power cables. Next, The added foam against the hull where there was none before both strengthens the hull and quietens it especially on an aluminum boat. The last reason was because there is now not enough space in the bilge to hold enough water weight to sink the boat in any condition. The foam can be bought on Amazon or Tiny Boat Nation. Be sure and use CLOSED CELL FOAM.
