You the man Wrangler!
While I was on the water a friend of mine called and said he was driving from Ardmore to McAlester and wanted to know if he could stop and fish a while as he was passing thru. I picked him up at the boat ramp and at one of the places we fished he caught a 22” Striper on a 5’ crappie rod spooled with 6# line. You should have seen us trying to keep up with that Striper in high wind using the trolling motor. That made my friends day. I got the bonus of having someone help me load the boat on a windy day. :).
I don't know why but most of the time windows won't download pics from my iphone to my computer. That is why most of my pics are rotated 90*. Every tow or three months my computer will all of a sudden recognize and down load the pics. Well, I plugged my Iphone into my computer this morning and it downloaded a bunch of pics so I thought I would post or re-post a few that looked goofy turned sideways.

One of the few pics I have taken while on the water. This was one of this weeks fish.
Here are those barometer globe pics that I thought looked goofy turned sideways.

I don't know why the last pic is turned sideways.
This is a pic of the ice spoons I make for crappie. They are small as you can tell by the penny there for scale. When the crappie are hitting them they are real handy because unlike a plastic jig they don't wear out when the crappie are aggressive. I plan on trying them this spring under a float when the crappie are on the beds.

We'll my sarcasm towards my friend wasn't received very well so may god bless all of y'all and y'all have a nice day. Wrangler I shall return.
I have to look closely but I found some fish.
Things are starting to look up for us crappie fishermen. As I sit here giving my Sunday School lesson the final proof reading before church I cant help but notice that it is easily light enough to launch a boat and it is not yet 7:00 am! Spring is a coming!
Someone is leaning on me to build them a custom spinning rod. I told them if they would buy the parts I would build it. Do you folk want me to detail another tutorial while building this rod?
