The Corp of Engineers is helping me with my crappie fishing addiction by closing some boat ramps.

Boat ramps were closed so I spent the day on the Ranger restore project. I managed to get every gauge replaced and working. It took a bit of want to because I had never done that before and every gauge did not work before I started. I replaced the speedometer, tach, fuel gauge, and tilt & trim gauge. I also installed a volt meter that the Ranger did not come equipped with.

Would be great to see some pics of the restore.....

While I did not take pics of the new gauges you can see much of the project on my albums

not sure how to get there to your albums?

Click in or tap my name “crappie wrangler” on upper left hand side of my post then select view profile then albums will be listed on the left hand side of the screen.

There should be a fish album, aluminum boat recarpet album, the Ranger restore project, and one on making 1/4 oz spoons.

Thanks, I never new we had that feature will have to make some of my own.

If it’s not raining tomorrow I think I will drive around and see if I can find an open boat ramp.

In the rain gauge at my house I have recorded 16” of rain in 16 days.
