I really enjoy my new Garmin 93sv with chirp. I’ve only had it on the boat about 6 weeks or so but since installing it I have found an additional 100+ brush piles. I also can now easily distinguish the fish from the brush.

I forgot yesterday's report. I cleaned 14 of 30 fish. It was windy when I was on the lake so bites were a little more difficult to detect. I fished a new cove that had no brush in it but I could see the schools of fish on my Garmin so when I could keep up with the school I could catch a fish every drop. I drained my batteries chasing schools of crappie around a cove with the wind blowing right into the cove. I was by myself for a change so I did not put a brush pile in the unknown cove but you can be certain that I will go back with the Lone Stranger and place a few brush piles there.

The Lone Stranger went out to set some brushpiles today and I just can’t make myself get on the water without a fishing pole.
