According to the Post, there seems to be a little more work to complete before the construction work is 100% complete. The Lake is 37.44 feet (470.98) above the normal 233.00. Our Camp is scheduled for April 5-8 and was wondering how much water the Corps would reasonable let out of the Lake before the first week in April. Any thoughts on this? Corps website shows 474.46 which is 41.46 feet over normal pool. David Stewart from Corps office in Valiant said earlier this week that they would not open the gates until the downstream creeks could take the water. Also, he thought they could have the lake down to near normal pool on our April 5-8 Camp dates. Machine what is your experience with drawing down 40 feet of water in 36 days? Assuming not much more rainfall.
