Are there Crappie in Pretty water? ...I used to fish both lakes a lot, but don't remember ever catching a crappie out that lake, just Sahoma... Anyways I only recently started fishing again after an almost 3 year break. I've been going to Shell lake since I found out it has saugeye and caught my first one ever (and I've caught at least 1 saugeye almost every time since), but I'm interested in hearing more about how Pretty water and sahoma are fishing now that the water is back up.
There are some in Sahoma, I've been fishing Pretty Water lately and only had luck with perch and channel cat. They stock it yearly with cat and trout, and saw a couple of guys in little 1-2 man boats with trolling motor pull out some bass on the shore opposite of the docks.
Haven't tried Sahoma yet this year.
Ya I totally forgot about the Trout and missed my chance this year. I'm enjoying Shell lake so I'm not sure if I'll get around to pretty water or sahoma until trout are stocked again. I'm not sure they offer enough incentive, with shell having saugeye and sand bass + the same stuff PW and sahoma have. Though I think they stock sahoma with Hybrids? ...Not sure, but I know I never caught one.
