Lake Hudson i.e Burn Camp

Still without a boat. We will drive down Saturday morning, bring the scales, assist with the kids, and help in anyway we can....See everyone Saturday........Ranger

Been out of fishing for 15 years. Bought a new Lund 2 weeks ago and found this great event and signed up for all day. Never been to this lake so hoping to get some pointers to get the kids on some fish. Tube is packed and ready for an awesome day.

Didn't see this until last week and tried to make it work but it's too late for this year. Since I know about it now I will definitely make it a point to mark the calendar for next year. Hope you guy's have as much fun as it sounds!

I may just have to follow somebody around that knows what they are doing. I would hate to be "that guy" that disappoints the campers.

Dyabolical- last year my wife and I took a camper and her counselor straight across the lake to a real shady cove where we bobber fished the whole time just bumping around in the shade and sacking sunfish. They had a ball- the counselor had been going for years and said she never had caught a fish before. We caught about 40 dinks. They just loved watching that bobber move! Lots of different approaches obviously but no pressure. It's not like taking one of us out and you can always catch gills and such. You will love this event. It is so well done .

Yes it does, i do not mind rain but lightning is a game changer.

Guys just received word from Jennifer the coordinator of the Burn Camp and she will be in contact with the National Weather Forecasters no later than Friday Evening. If the suggest in anyway there could be harmful lightning and weather for Saturday's Fun Fish Day it will be canceled Friday Evening. Stay Tuned I will let you know as soon as it's decided. Hopefully we will all meet at 5:30am Saturday Morning.........Ranger
