Wes Watkins fishing report
Haven't heard anything lately regarding Wes Watkins. I've tube fished it the last two weeks and have caught a few nice ones around 8 feet deep around trees but Not catching very many. Anyone having any success?

I live a mile away from Wes Watkins and everyday wish it was better. It has unbelievable standing timber in it.

Hey nip do you like fishing twin lakes. That's my go to spot. The biggest crappie I've ever caught have been out of Watkins and twin lakes.

No I never get over there. People have told me to hit Twin Lakes. I've never caught anything over 9" out of Watkins.

I'm only bank fish at twin lakes but I do really good at times. There are monster saugeye in it. Hit me up if your ever interested in going. I can show you a few spots that are awesome at certain times of the year.
I went last week and caught a few sand bass and 1 crappie however all were good size. The fishing is pretty slow
