Josh, darn impressive catches. I've a!ways caught my crappie in the spring during the spawn and in the summer on the trees that you used to be able to see on eufaula. If you're serious about showing people new techniques, I would love to spend a day in the boat with you. We can take mine since yours is out of commission.
Heck, I'll fish with ya! In my boat since yours is down. But I got to warn ya. I'm an opinionated guy! Ask anybody! You young whipper snappers make it interesting. And we'll go where you want.
Makes no difference to me.
Josh I have only met you once on the lake when I stopped to introduce myself and tell you where I had caught my fish, on what bait, color, and depth. I would never be disrespectful to you for any reason and when I made the comment about eating crow it's pretty hard to guarantee a limit on any day. Yes we all have those magical days fishing and some have more than others. I was just saying it's called fishing and catching is a huge bonus. You like most of us spend countless hours on the water following the movements of fish so we can be successful each day. So with that said if I ruffled your feathers my friend I will certainly be the first standing to apologize. Tight Lines.....Ranger
Mark - I salute you for your post. Josh has made a number of people jealous, apparently, and they have chosen to attack him instead of embracing him and learn from him. It is a sad world we live in. I tip my hat to you for your action. You are a person with integrity and immediately take action to correct a wrong. If more people in this country did what you just did we would have a better world. My .02.:biggrin
I just want to add, when something is posted, in writing, it can often be taken many different ways depending on how t's said in your head. What I mean is, depending on inflections and tone, something said one way could be taken as a personal attack, and if the same text is read another way, it could be thought of completely differently. We are not professional writers, we just post what we're thinking at the time. As a poster, please take the time to think about how the person you are posting to will take it. Heck, especially on the MS forum, they throw out so much "junk", I don't even know what an attack is and what is said it jest. The rule is, if the person you are posting to "interprets" it as an attack, then it's an attack. I occasionally will even ask the recipients of posts whether they felt something was an attack or not. Thank you all for being part of our great community here - FISH ON!
Tips hat to Josh and Mark for stepping up. Ed, still on the fence with you my friend. :biggrin
